Some thoughts on building models of all types and sizes
Welcome. If you have not visited Minature Buildings before can I suggest you begin with my Aims and Scope article or at the Home Page. If you have visited before - welcome back. I hope this article is of interest to you.
Miniature Buildings is not really a blog. It's primarily a collection of articles on the varied world of buildings recreated in miniature, in all their varied forms and subjects. In 2021 I tried to post a little something every few days. But it all ground to a halt in December. If you are interested you can find the 2021 items at MBdaily3.htm
This is a fresh start. I'm going to try to post once a week and see if I do any better.
24 May 2022 : Museum Models
I have just got home from a two month trip in our motorhome, the Dutchess, around Itay and France. A trip which included a lot of Cathedrals, Palazzos, Chateaux and Museums. Several of which include in their collections one or more models of themelves.
"Museum Quality" is a phrase sometimes used to describe work of a particular kind. It is, I believe, normally used to indicate high class work of fine quality. Sometimes that is true. But not always. The quality of models on display is as varied as in any other context.
